I looked out the window today
And saw things are changing again
Even the people
The lovers become fighters
And fighters become lovers
Although, I can't say much
People go
And people come
Turns out,
The only thing constant in ones life
Is the fact that
Everyday you have to live
Everyday will contain 24 hours
Every year will have four seasons
Everything else,
Can only be constant for so long
Lovers, boyfriends, girlfriends change
They leave
Hairstyles
Family
People die
People leave
People forget
But as the seasons pass
You should have no fear in knowing
That at least there's one thing in life
That'll never change
And can never really hurt you
Ashley. Thanks so much for sharing your blog with me. Considering that whole "I'm an 'adult'" thing, letting me read was a pretty gutsy thing to do. I'm glad you trusted me, and I'm glad that I got to know you better by reading a few posts. You are a brilliant girl who deserves a lot better than some of the things that you're getting. But I think you know that, if you hang on to those brains of yours, and stay away from some of those temptations to "let go" of life, you'll make greatness for yourself in just a few years.
