When All Else Fails

The stone is hot beneath my feet
How easy it is just to turn the other cheek
Nothing to face,
No blood today
Everything somehow
In someway
Falls my way
The sickly sun beats down on me
Pushing me closer
And closer to my home to be
When All else fails ive learned to say
It can wait...
Just 1 more day
The sweet sound that fills my ears
Are like the empty promises from you my dear

So now as i slowly gently fade away

Ive learned that somethings are just better,
Another day
